Should I be Tipping the Crew or the Captain and if so, how much?

There’s a certain etiquette that is followed in reference to tipping the crew when you are on a deep sea fishing boat or Private Charter.

The crew works hard for you an average of 4-6 hours including filleting your fish after the trip. Just like the waiters at your favorite restaurant, a large portion of their salary comes from your tips. Standard tips are 15%-20%, so please don’t forget to tip either the Captain of the boat or give your tip to one of his crew members.

This is customary and goes for all deep sea fishing boats located within the Boynton Beach Fishing, Lake Worth Fishing, Delray Fishing and West Palm Beach Fishing areas. Our crew works hard so be sure to take care of them!
